I’m a Chi Alpha campus pastor at the University of Virginia. I love my job. I graduated from UVA in 2007 with a degree in Religious Studies and History (ok, the history part was just a minor, but who wants to write a thesis?). I married my wife, Katie, after our intern year with Chi Alpha on free slurpee day in 2009. We have a daughter, Emma, who is growing up too fast and will never be allowed to date. We also have son, Levi who is too little to do much of anything right now. I like to hunt. I drink black coffee. A lot of black coffee. I like to read. No really. I really do. I consider myself to be a jack of all trades and a master of none when it comes to sports (except lacrosse, who plays lacrosse?). I play on the internets more than I should. If I wasn’t doing campus ministry I like to tell myself that construction would be a good option. I am, and forever will be, a Hoo. Through and through.
I like to blog to help me think and to share some of the things that happen in everyday life.
Just to be upfront, I do like to use the website to make a little (read a very little) extra cash through links (especially amazon ones) and maybe one day advertisements.
